Cardiovascular and Emergency Center

This is an institution for handling severe or emergency cardiac, vascular, and other circulatory disorders. In collaboration with the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine (Internal medicine 2), Department of Cardiovascular Surgery (Surgery 2), and Department of Critical Care Medicine, advanced emergency circulatory care is provided for disorders including acute myocardial

infarction, cardiac failure, arrhythmia, and dissecting aortic aneurysm. The institution consists of at least 20 staff with only doctors of cardiovascular medicine and surgery as the greatest manpower in the circulatory institutions of Yamanashi Prefecture. We attend to all circulatory disorders at 24-hour system every day of the year using the latest medical devices.

Please visit this center if you have the following symptoms at a severe intensity. Letter of referral is not necessary.

  1. Difficulty breathing
  2. Feeling of pressure, pain, or abnormal sensation in the chest
  3. Palpitation
  4. Syncope

On weekdays (8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.), please request this center at hospital reception. If you wish to visit the center on weekdays outside the hours shown above, or on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays, reception will be carried out in the Emergency Room. If this is the case, please notify and consult by phone (+81-55-273-1113) before visiting the hospital. The entrance of the Emergency Room is located at the afterhours entrance (admission/discharge entrance) towards the hospital car park.
